Do you want your business to be known for its quality? What will people say if you put out junky products or your service stinks? What steps do you have to take to make and keep quality in your products/services? How about in your business?
We will continue with my nine-blog session on Project Management. I will expand on each management segment of my past blog on Project Management.
Quality Management – Satisfaction. With quality in your product and/or service you have the satisfaction of your customers. And the less gripes, the better. Also, you will have the satisfaction of a product/service that you will not have to improve constantly, or ever again. Then, you will need to start another project to fix the last project. Is quality in your products/services important to you?
Do not waiver from the level of quality even if your time and budget schedules shift. If the quality is important for your project then pay close attention so the quality is not compromised. But if you keep your focus on insuring that quality is placed in each step of your project then you will not stray from creating a quality product.
Quality Project Management Check List
1) Will the budget allow you to produce a quality product/service – if you produce low quality you may have to scrap the project after it’s finished or spend more money making constant improvements
2) Do you have the satisfaction of the customer in mind – research what your potential customers want and build quality to satisfy their needs
3) What lists of quality control items do you have in place to keep the quality in your project – make a quality step-by-step list and stick with it
